Can I return my coffee?

We do not accept returns or issue refunds after shipping, unless there are quality issues.

Does the coffee come with a recipe card?

Yes! Both whole bag beans and xPods include recipe cards to help you start brewing right away. (For the EU market, whole bag beans currently have digital recipe cards.)

When will my order ship for In Stock, Reserve Next Batch, or Subscription items?

In Stock: Ships immediately. Orders are typically dispatched within 2 business days.

Reserve Next Batch: Pre-order for the next restock. Sometimes our coffees are already enroute from roaster, you'll be first in line and get fulfilled as soon as it's available.

Subscription: Ships now if in stock. For recurring orders, out-of-stock items are prioritized and shipped immediately upon arrival.

My coffee arrived damaged, missing, expired, or incorrect. What should I do?

Please take some photos of the damaged item, its packaging, or what you received, and then contact our customer service team at support@xbloom.com. We’ll be happy to assist you promptly.

How should I store my xPods?

For unopened bags, the beans will keep their flavor longer if stored in a dry place away from moisture. Once the bag is opened, if you can’t enjoy all the xPods right away, we recommend storing them in an airtight container or sealing the bag and keeping it in the freezer.

These beans have to be one of my favorite x-pods on the site. It truly is fancy diner coffee. It is a luxurious dark roast that brings you back to the good times, whenever I'm feeling down or I need a pick me up, this is my go-to. If you haven't tried it yet your missing out!!

Reliable Morning Coffee
I have used/brewed these beans with the X Bloom for a few months now. They are consistently good, as you would expect from the product. Medium to dark taste, pleasant bitterness and goes well for a cafe au lait type drink.

Not a medium, nor dark roast.
The tasting notes suggest this is a roast with "Chocolate" and "Roasty" attributes.
That's not correct. At all......
This is a bright blend with acidic and fruity notes. The beans are very obviously a light roast, as no oils are present on the outside of the bean. There is some caramel, and a short finish. The body is very light, again, this is not a dark roast coffee.
I had some fun gave a cup to my nephew, who works for a coffee roasting boutique, and he immediately called it out as a light roast. He did say it was a good one, and fresh, but when I showed him the description, he laughed.
My problem with XBloom is that I've now purchased over $120 worth of their Xpods...all claiming to be a dark roast. None have been. I think this is my last order, which is a shame. I can't waste any more money on this.
My nephew suggested just using his beans & recommended blend, which are what I would call an "Italian Roast". I prefer something well-short of a french roast, but darker than a medium. And I save money this way!

Hey John,

Thanks for the feedback. We list the roast level exactly as the roaster describes it, and roast levels can vary a lot from roaster to roaster. What one brand calls “medium” might taste closer to “light” (or “dark”) compared to another.

Also, many specialty roasters tend to roast a bit lighter overall to highlight origin flavors rather than that classic smoky profile—so if you’re used to traditional dark roasts, some coffees can drink lighter than expected.

I can't see any orders from this email to know which xPods you've already tried, but if you want to give it one more shot, I'd point you toward Cocoa Drops by Northshore, our Start Strong collection, or Bronson by Verve (which is a French roast), hope these land much closer to what you're looking for.

Best coffee
This is my favorite coffee. I have tried others but I always come back to this. I drink it every morning and look forward to it. It is just the right strength and such a good flavor. I hope these ladies continue to make this and much more for a long time.
